Is the Church “killing off” mobile apps that it wants to do itself? A handful of apps have been discontinued by request from the LDS Church. Why?

The Official Gospel Library App from the LDS Church. Search, bookmark, annotate, link, and highlight text. Synchronize with LDS.org. Compare with others.
The Church’s official “Tools” App. Information from LDS.org is synched to the app on your device, including directory, calendar, more for easy and fast lookup.
The Mormon Channel App is a MUST HAVE LDS Mobile App for multiple reasons. It’s a wealth of information and media at your fingertips. Use it often!
